The car we rented was in great condition, all papers etc were included, the process for renting was fast and easy. The pickup drop off location makes things easy. Communication was good and they are transparent and trusty worthy, my deposit was returned in the time period they stated. I had overall a great experience with Almakar. If there is one downside it is what others have mentioned that the international payment process is not the best and you lose money on fees exchanges, but hopefully they can find a way to improve.

Excellent car provided with best customer service! Bek was great at communication and I did not feel the language barrier with him that I felt in the rest of Almaty. He was quick at using a translator and provide quick replies to all my queries. The car, a Hyundai Staria was brand new and me and my family enjoyed driving it in Almaty city and the countryside. We drove all the way to Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lakes National Park and had a hassle free experience in the lovely car provided by them. They kept up the communication throughout even after we returned the car until the time they refunded the deposit. The entire experience was smooth and I shall definitely rent a car from them on my next visit to Almaty. Even though we ended up exceeding our kilometer limit, they were very reasonable on the extra kilometer charges. A very genuine and honest car rental company. Thank you Bek and Team Almakar
